Maplewood Smokehouse

We had a dinner there as a part of Dine Chilliwack event. Every bite (and sip) was delicious! I never heard of hush puppies, and now I’m a fan haha. Pulled pork melts in your mouth. Even the butter is delicious! So glad we discovered this place close to home. We’ll definitely be back! And I heard one better book on Friday nights.

Wow!!! The flavour was out of this world. So so good! The burger was simple but so tasty. Fries were perfect and the dip to go with it just topped it all off. Husband got the special which was beef ribs and he really enjoyed it as well. We will be back for sure!

While visiting Chilliwack from Winnipeg, we absolutely had to try the Maplewood Smokehouse. Started with the smokey popcorn and then moved to the Pitmaster which we shared along with the Mac and Cheese. DJ, the bartender, recommended the Winter Sangria with a smoking cinnamon stick. Chef Jesse came out and explained the Pitmaster and all the sauces. Everything was INCREDIBLE! At the end of the evening, the owners, Jesse and Amanda joined us at our table. Full disclosure, Jesse is our son.

Our new favourite spot! We’ve now been here 5 times, and without fail, it gets better each time! Maplewood Smokehouse has the most incredible staff, each member is kind, funny, knowledgeable and uniquely genuine in their own way. The food and drinks are, in my opinion, top tier, and honestly 5-star bbq restaurant worthy. The atmosphere makes you feel so at home, I am a big foodie and without a doubt this is my go to place for a good quality meal, amazing company, and the best overall experience. I will never stop raving about my new favourite home away from home! Thank you Maplewood, for the recent memories and experiences, and cheers to all those to come in the future!

Everything was sooo delicious. We had a pit master and the Mac and cheese, and both were out of this world. The brisket was falling apart on our forks, and melting in our mouths. The pulled pork was a little sweet and a little spicy, just right for me. The meats were very high quality, and the fat was just as good. The service was amazing, everyone was super nice, and we got smoky popcorn to eat while we waited.

Very yummy gravy with a little bit of a hint of spice, which is lovely and pulled Pork is soft and yummy and homemade fries. It’s like the cherry on top.!! Must try out

We ordered from Maplewood Smoke House for my dad and myself, and it was absolutely incredible! The food was perfectly smoked, tender, and full of flavor — you can tell they really know what they’re doing. The chef even came out to chat with my dad, who’s a huge smoked-meat enthusiast, and they had a great conversation about different techniques and methods. It’s rare to find that kind of passion and hospitality these days. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

Wow, what a spot! Soon as you walk in you get the sweet smell of slow cooked BBQ. I ordered the 1/2 rack st Louis style ribs with the poutine for a side. The first bone i grabbed just came out and I knew I was in for a treat! As someone who raises and smokes my own meat, I'm always skeptical about going out, but do not fear! Maplewood Smokehouse does it right! If you like smoked meat and poutine this place is for you, and whomever came up with the smoked popcorn appy is a genius! Sunday at lunch time was moderately busy. Definitely be back!
